Construction Estimator
: Job Details :

Citimark is looking for a construction estimator to be responsible for the development of a profitable project estimate for design/build, tenant finish, capital, and plan and spec. projects, to include completing estimate responsibilities and contract/tenant finish award responsibilities.

The Estimator's primary responsibility is to prepare estimates that communicate detailed, accurate information, encompass pricing measurements of the General Conditions, and include the subcontractor and employee work to achieve the estimated margin.

This position requires:

· An extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, construction practices, and contracts.

· A thorough knowledge and experience in using Sage Estimating software, Microsoft Office apps including Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

· Strong math abilities to include: arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.

· Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

· The ability to read bid documents and sketch construction details.

· The ability to calculate the costs of work based on probability in order to supply information about the probable costs of the project, the relative costs of the various parts, and how long the project will take to complete.

· The ability to communicate graphically and verbally.

· Familiarity with measuring techniques, economics, and business.

· The ability to visualize what is not apparent, possess the quality of thinking in abstract terms, and be analytical and critical.

· The ability to make unilateral decisions on matters using whatever information is available, as well as common sense.

· The ability to work alone.

· The ability to work for a goal which cannot always be achieved.

This position is required to work in the office and is not eligible for remote work.

• Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• This position is not eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
