Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a construction/field engineer to join our TYLin's PMCM team.
Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:- Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting.
- Verify construction documents to field conditions.
- Conduct in-depth research to develop recommendations for approaches, concepts, materials and equipment selection.
- Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate.
- Assure that drawings, calculations and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards and strengths, follow Quality Assurance and Control procedures.
- Prepare project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports.
- Assist in change orders negotiations with contractors.
- Review contractor invoicing to verify quantities and enter contractor invoices into Client's online system.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:- BS in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
- EIT Certification preferred.
- 2+ years of construction (office) engineer experience is required.
- Previous infrastructure construction experience with NYCT or similar rail agency required.
- Requires knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Experience coordinating with multiple contractors and trades at one time in the field.
- Knowledge of meeting construction schedules and budgets.

Additional InformationTYLin is committed to pay equity.As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $86,900- $130,300 annually for this position and local market.
