IEA Inc. currently has an opening for a Construction Inspector to join our Construction Engineering & Inspection Team in Texas. Openings are in Austin, Laredo, & Lubbock.
Responsibilities
Observe and documents contractor work methods to ensure quality project.
Work under supervision on a project team. Work on assignments contributing to the project team for successful delivery to the client. Knowledge & application of construction practices, specifications, and material testing are required for this role.
Qualifications
Good verbal and written communication skills.
2 years of construction experience or related technical training or college education required.
Exposure to TxDOT materials testing and construction inspection procedures
Experience reading and interpreting maps, charts, survey data, plans & specifications.
Able to work long hours and/or overnight hours.
Open to travel
Certifications (have or obtain within 3 months of hire)
TxAPA SB102 & Level 1B
ACI Field Grade 1
