We are entirely employee-owned and are looking to expand our Construction/Inspection team quickly!Position OverviewThe Construction Inspector for Water/Wastewater Civil is responsible for overseeing and inspecting construction projects related to water and wastewater facilities. This role ensures compliance with regulations, standards, and project specifications to guarantee the quality and safety of public infrastructure.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of water and wastewater construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Review project plans and specifications before construction begins to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor construction progress, and assess the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure project specifications are met.
- Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and communicate any issues or discrepancies to project managers and contractors.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Assist in resolving construction-related problems and provide technical guidance to construction teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection, particularly in water and wastewater projects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and construction standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
