Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team specializing in commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofs, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist with Roofing Installation: Help with the installation of various roofing systems, including flat roofs, metal roofs, and membrane roofs, by preparing materials and tools as directed by the roofing crew. Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport roofing materials to and from the job site, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage. Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of the job site by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment. Ensure the work area is clean and free of hazards. Demolition and Removal: Aid in the removal of old roofing materials and debris, including the use of hand and power tools to strip existing roofing layers. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to OSHA regulations. Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and care of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
