Come join our team today!Position Summary:The Underground construction laborer will be responsible for placing conduit and or cables in trenches, splicing conduit sections as directed, placing anchors, vaults, pedestals, and other construction tasks. Assist heavy equipment operators with driving construction equipment, including bulldozers, forklifts, and backhoes. Assist in loading and unloading equipment and material supplies as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the company, supporting the corporate safety program and personnel.Assisting supervisors with completing all tasks assigned.Safely operate tamps, jackhammers, and other miscellaneous equipment.Carefully hand dig with shovels, picks, and digging bars to locate and expose existing utilities.Report repairs that need to be made to any equipment to the foreman.Assist in operating heavy equipment in compliance with company operating safety policies and procedures.Fully restore any excavations at the completion of installation.When required and if appropriately licensed and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment to complete daily work assignments.Clean and maintain all company vehicles when assigned for use.Capable of working in all temperatures and climates.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Receive, store, and protect project material and equipment, including owner-furnished items; documenting and reporting any shortages and damage immediately.Coordinate movement of hands and feet in order to guide machinery in and out of tight places.Assist Foreman in managing the successful completion of all installations from start to finish.Be able to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy solar sites.Assist Foreman with accurate daily reports.Provide support and assistance to other DSI divisions as needed.Support and encourage safety as a core value throughout the duration of the project.Demonstrate a professional demeanor and ensure all project personnel act professionally.Handle special assignments and other duties as requested by leadership.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):High School diploma or GED required.Familiar with OSHA regulations (required), OSHA training and certifications (preferred).Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Must be able to work long and/or extended hours to include weekends, as needed, with the ability to travel frequently.Requires a working knowledge of equipment being used (preferred).Collaborative work style and commitment to getting the job done.Cinterra provides equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.#J-18808-Ljbffr
