Construction Labor Job Description:
- Help equipment operators and other crafts as necessary
- Help care for construction equipment and machines
- Prep sites by clearing obstacles and hazards
- Load or unload construction materials
- Remove, fill, or compact earth
- Follow instructions from Foremen and Supervisors
- Be ready to learn on-the-job
- Perform site-clean up
- Stay aware of potential hazards and be ready to alert others
- Shovel work, pipe laying, and hand grading are other types of duties
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to do physical labor
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be willing to learn
- Must be able to follow directions
- Sharp decision-making skills
- Good communication skills
