We are seeking an experienced Solar Construction Manager with a strong background in acting as an Owner's Representative. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of solar construction best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the owner and contractors, ensuring all project requirements and expectations are met.
- Oversee the entire solar project lifecycle, including design review, budgeting, scheduling, and construction.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet all safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract agreements and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure safety, budget, and scheduling goals are met or exceeded.
- Review and approve project plans, change orders, and other necessary documentation.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, costs, and risks for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager in solar or renewable energy projects, with a focus on utility scale projects.
- Experience acting as an Owner's Representative in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of solar design, engineering, and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliver high-quality results on time.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
