Construction Manager - Texas - 6-Month ContractHow would you like the opportunity to work with in one of the largest biopharmaceutical projects in the country? If yes, then this is the assignment for you!Our client is currently seeking the skills of Construction Manager to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide - and this is your opportunity to be involved!Roles & Responsibilities:
  • To develop good relationships with the client / end user along with their prospective peers
  • To identify the Projects needs for construction support throughout the project life cycle
  • Work with the SHE team and Project Partners in the development of the overall SHE strategy and implementation of the same
  • Provide leadership and management oversight for Contractors and their sub-contractors in the construction/ installation planning, sequencing, coordination and interfaces management within the extended project delivery team and wider AZ parties (Operations, Facilities Management, Site SHE and etc.);
  • Ensures that security, materials lay-down areas, project related logistics, housekeeping and waste management is planned and managed effectively by others;
  • Support implementation of the AZGE Client SHE Requirements with Project Construction SHE Manager including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed and use for Reporting and Observation PM-Vitals;
  • Review JHA's (as required) and offer recommendations and comments where applicable
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Proven experience in overseeing large-scale construction and installation projects, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and process equipment installations.
  • In-depth knowledge of local construction regulations and national legislation.
  • Experience working with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) requirements and implementing SHE strategies in construction projects.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms such as BIM 360, Navisworks, and other common data environments.
  • Experience with technical submissions review and RFI (Request for Information) processes.
