We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Manager to join our team. This position will require to be on the job site in Cheyenne, Wyoming. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the electrical field, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of electrical projects, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, develop project scopes, and establish project objectives and timelines.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the duration of projects.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to maximize productivity, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive working environment.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, presentations, and other documentation to clients and senior management as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements within the project management process.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other relevant records.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the electrical industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and construction methods, as well as relevant codes and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Project 8-10 months, working 6 days a week, 10 hour days.
