Responsibilities:
On-Site Supervision- Supervise construction activities, manage labor force, and monitor subcontractor performance on-site.
Project Planning & Budgeting- Collaborate with the Project Management team to develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
Multi-Project Management- Oversee and manage multiple projects within geographically adjacent areas.
Coordination & Organization- Organize tasks, select appropriate subcontractors, and schedule their activities efficiently.
Client & Stakeholder Communication- Interpret contracts and technical documentation, maintaining clear communication with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Quality Control- Inspect work for quality, oversee control processes, and ensure all work aligns with specifications.
Health & Safety- Promote and enforce health and safety standards, including conducting regular site inspections.
Progress Reporting- Prepare reports and provide regular (daily/weekly) project updates to clients.
Problem Solving- Address project delays, handle emergencies, and resolve unexpected issues promptly.
Regulatory Compliance- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant legal requirements, including building and safety codes.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of solar construction management experience
- Willingness to travel up to 3-4 days per week to job sites
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards; OSHA 10 is a minimum requirement
- Professional trade licenses (e.g., CSL, NABCEP PV) are maintained and current
- Valid driver's license
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with a range of stakeholders
