DescriptionPosition Overview:We are seeking two experienced Construction Management Representatives (CMR) to oversee and ensure the successful execution of construction projects, with a focus on historic preservation, marine construction, and utility replacement. The CMR will be responsible for managing project performance, coordinating with multiple crews, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.CMR#1 (Onsite)Experience: Minimum 5 years of construction management experienceLocation: OnsiteQualifications:

• OSHA 30-Hour Certification
• Proven ability to walk or climb daily to observe contract performance
• Strong background in marine construction, utility replacement, historic preservation, architecture, and engineering
• Knowledge of National Historic Landmarks and the performance of historic restoration/rehabilitation work
• Familiarity with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties
• Ability to conduct inspections from scaffolding and rooftops
• Expertise in construction practices, industry standards, regulations, and codes
• Ability to collaborate with multiple crews across various sites
• Knowledge of hazardous materials abatement and lawful disposal procedures (e.g., asbestos, lead-based paint)
• Familiarity with NPS Workflows and construction activities is a plus

CMR#2 (Remote)Experience: Minimum 3 years of construction management experienceLocation: RemoteQualifications: Same as CMR#1 with the exception of onsite-specific duties.Core Responsibilities for Both CMRs:

• Provide oversight of construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards
• Conduct inspections and assessments, including from scaffolding and rooftops as required
• Communicate regularly with the Architect/Engineer (A/E) Firm and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to report progress, resolve issues, and achieve Quality Control
• Review and manage construction schedules using software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent
• Coordinate with various construction teams on multiple job sites
• Perform cost breakdown estimating, negotiation, and technical writing
• Provide timely reports, documentation, and project updates to stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between the project team and project owner representatives

Required Documentation:

• Information on past projects where you have provided similar services, including the work performed and contact information for project owner representatives
• At least 3 references from previous construction management projects for each proposed CMR

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Project
• Expertise in using ProjectTeam or similar construction/project management software
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
• Experience in managing multiple construction sites and teams simultaneously
