Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:Project Coordination and Scheduling:Manage a detailed installation schedule to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and the Arencibia project management team, to align on timelines and resource requirements.Ensure alignment between the construction schedule and milestones outlined by the general contractor.Site Management and Equipment Installation:Oversee crane and rigging operations for large equipment and components to ensure proper installation.Manage the installation of process piping, including stainless steel welding, ensuring that all work meets industry and project quality standards.Supervise the installation of medium and low-voltage electrical systems, including transformers, switchboards, power distribution panels, low-voltage panels, and remote-control panels.Coordinate and supervise the mechanical and electrical crews, ensuring seamless collaboration across disciplines.Client and Team Communication:Act as the primary on-site point of contact, facilitating communication between the Arencibia project management team and the client.Provide regular updates and progress reports to the project management team and stakeholders.Address client concerns and resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety incident reports.Track resource utilization and document any changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget.Safety and Compliance:Collaborate closely with the Safety Manager to enforce all safety procedures and requirements mandated by the general contractor and the final client.Conduct regular site safety audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Maintain a culture of safety on-site, ensuring that all team members and contractors understand and adhere to project-specific safety protocols.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.Minimum of 8 years of construction management experience, preferably with a focus on gas and oil or industrial gas systems.Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale industrial projects, including scheduling, crane and rigging, and equipment installation.Proficiency in stainless steel welding of process piping and electrical installations, including medium and low voltage systems.Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance, with experience working closely with Safety Managers.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between teams, clients, and stakeholders.Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in gas recycling or nitrogen production plants, certification in project management or construction management, familiarity with the local regulations and requirements in Hemlock, MI.#J-18808-Ljbffr
