Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Manager to lead the construction efforts for a renewable natural gas (RNG) facility. This role will involve managing the phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, budget constraints, and timelines. The Construction Manager will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality facilities that align with industry standards and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Oversight:
- Manage on-site activities, ensuring that construction progresses according to approved plans and schedules.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors to maintain quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and compliance with environmental standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work closely with all stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and community representatives.
- Facilitate communication between on-site construction teams, ensuring alignment of objectives and addressing potential conflicts.
- Work with the Project Manager to prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and management.
- Quality and Risk Management:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction meets organizational and regulatory standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping throughout the construction process.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, preferably in energy, industrial, or RNG facility projects.
- Proven ability to manage complex construction projects, including budget and timeline oversight.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and construction best practices.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with renewable energy or RNG project construction.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory requirements related to RNG facilities.
Work Environment:
- Full-time at construction locations, which may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments.
