PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Dispatches resources (Sheet Metal and Pipefitters) for construction-type projects company-wide.
- Request from PM's or Service Sales Engineers any necessary drawings, submittals or project specifications that foreman may need, at times print these documents off as well.
- Manages new hires, lay-offs, let-goes, tech incentive's, raises and apprentice needs.
- Communicate with Business Managers at Local 2 and Local 533 regarding manpower needs or issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing manpower in the Construction Department (Sheet Metal and Pipefitters) 30 to 50 employees, but not unheard of to be responsible for 60+ at any given time.
- Receive job information for construction and HVAC Service jobs by obtaining the proper information such as job location, billing address, phone number, contact, etc.

- Help to make sure all employees are working in safe environments and keeping safety at the forefront of every job.
- Over see's fab shop needs and maintenance, while working with upper management to make sure we keep it a safe and productive working environment.
- Coordinate use of the Box Truck: Available drivers, dates of deliveries, working with fleet to have truck maintenance, tracking MED Card/DOT certifications.
- Assist Foremen with tool issues or special required tools as needed.
- Target/Market Recovery Money- creating, tracking and sending the paperwork to the union for reimbursement.
- Complete monthly apprentice reports for Local 2 and Local 533. These get sent back to the hall each month.
- Coordinate/Schedule field trainings that come up, could be project specific or Equipment specific based on trades. Additionally, keeping records of all field training and skill sets.
- Communicate with Management to help resolve issues between field/office.
- Back up for issuing PO's to field personnel and construction project set up.
- Back up to Constuction payroll
- Any additional tasks deemed necessary by their supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum three year's Dispatcher experience. Construction/HVAC experience is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as workorders, job write-ups and purchase orders. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.
