Background:

Administered by CPC, the Climate Friendly Homes Fund (CFHF) provides grant funding for existing, 5-50-unit buildings in New York State with a focus on replacing older and less energy-efficient systems with all-electric, high-performance heating, cooling, and hot water heating systems. These funds will empower small building owners to identify and execute a scope of work to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings and decrease their greenhouse gas emissions.

Role Summary:

The CFHF Construction Portfolio Administrator, reporting to the CFHF Construction Portfolio Manager, will manage administrative tasks related to the funding and servicing of retrofit projects approved by the Climate Friendly Homes Fund, including substantial system input into the STRATEGY and McCracken Strategy Budget Loan Systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring CFHF projects are tracked, serviced, funded, and monitored from inception to completion. You will provide administrative support to the Construction Portfolio Manager, including loan set up and loan boarding in CPC's payment systems, maintaining client files, maintaining accurate records and documentation for project progress and financials, as well as other administrative tasks as needed. The CFHF Construction Portfolio Administrator will serve as a liaison between the CFHF Program staff and internal teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This role is integral to the efficacy and execution of the CFHF Program.

What You'll do:

* System maintenance and input of CFHF grants/loans

* Process payments and incoming wires for CFHF borrowers

* Interact with all parties to the transactions in relation to the CFHF program

* Funding and disbursing funds for Construction Portfolio Manager approval ensuring loan activity is in compliance with CPC policies and procedures

* Maintain customer filing system

* Collect and maintain all documentation on a portfolio working closely with Construction Portfolio Manager

* Proactively assist in developing solutions to resolve issues

* Attend site visits with the CPM as needed

* Monitor CFHF insurance reporting and tracking in strategy and monitor with borrowers

* Monitor CFHF Summary report

* Participate in team initiatives to improve portfolio monitoring supporting CPM with risk management process.

Skills and Experience

* Minimum 1 year experience as a portfolio administrator or similar role

* Undergrad degree in related field a plus

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* Advanced System knowledge (Strategy; Budget etc.)

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

* Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently, take initiative and solve problems proactively

* Familiarity with construction lending, administration, processes, systems a plus

* Team player

* Proficient in MS Office.

This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will work from the Manhattan office two - three days a week. The salary range is $55,000 - $65,000, dependent on experience.
