- Bachelor's Degree in fields related to construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Significant experience in managing construction projects, preferably including large-scale projects in the healthcare or biotechnology sector.
- Proven experience in successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with constructing or managing facilities for biotechnology or pharmaceutical purposes, particularly gene therapy, would be highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
Technical Skills Requirement
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through leadership and effective team management.
- Facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement safely with quality, speed and value.
- Must exhibit a good sense of judgment in decision making, without the need for management approval while at the same time keeping management informed and engaged on critical issues.
- In depth knowledge of, and experience in, the application of industry accepted project management experience.
- Demonstrated value for a disciplined, structured approach to project management and the ability to create and communicate progress via a metric based program.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to influence personnel and organizations without having direct administrative responsibility for them.
- Influence on and understanding of the external environment in order to understand comparative value and possible risks.
