We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Assistant (PA) to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role is crucial in supporting our Project Managers (PMs) to ensure the successful completion of projects up to $20 million. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. HHI Corporation offers a collaborative work culture and opportunities for professional growth.ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain project and job site filesSet up and maintain drawing logsLog and transmit documents as directed by the Project ManagerSet up and maintain project files using Procore softwareTransmit and file subcontracts and purchase ordersMaintain and track required subcontractor documents, including insurance, releases, and affidavitsAssist the Project Manager during the bid and buyout process, including distribution of plans and specificationsAssist the Project Manager in project-related issues as neededRespect the confidentiality of the company and its clients at all timesAssemble closeout documents and O&M manualsAssist with client and subcontractor relationshipsPerform other office duties as neededQualifications2 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction; federal experience preferredExcellent writing and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent plan and specification reading skillsWell-developed organizational skillsHonest and dependableGood interpersonal skillsMust pass government security clearance standardsMust pass pre-employment drug screen test if hiredGood driving record, valid license - insurable through the companySelf-starter and detail-orientedMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Experience in Procore (preferred)Basic scheduling knowledge (preferred)Basic accounting and/or contract administration duties (preferred)Experience in Resident Management System (RMS) utilized by the USACE (preferred)#J-18808-Ljbffr
