Summary of Position
Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC is a privately held and financially strong industrial services company that prides itself on the safety of its workers. Niles is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Project Coordinator. The ideal candidate will support the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, general contractors or subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall project management by coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
- Maintain and organize accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, plans, permits, specifications, and change orders.
- Serve as a point of contact for all project-related communications, facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Assist in tracking project expenses, preparing budget reports, and ensuring projects remain within financial guidelines.
- Help develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and adjustments are communicated promptly.
- Proactively identify potential project risks or delays and work with the team to develop solutions.
- Prepare regular status reports for project managers and stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues and upcoming milestones.
- Create warranties and other necessary documentation to complete jobs.
- Request Change orders as needed.
- Create sub-jobs as needed and update spreadsheets.
- Maintain SOP / Step-by-Step instructions & associated documentation.
