We are currently seeking a BSME candidate for a Construction Project Coordinator position. Candidate must have EIT Certification. The Construction Project Coordinator will assist the construction project manager and team, with the coordination and observation of construction processes. Tasks involve monitoring and assisting in project plans, schedule, work hours, budgets, expenditures organizing and participating in meetings and ensuring projects are completed, on time and within budget.Responsibilities
- Coordinate work to be done, ensuring optimal communication between contractors, clients, and team.
- Monitor project's progress and create project status reports.
- Ensure project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Monitor and inspect project sites for compliance with safety regulations and report any non-compliance.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings and standards.
- Attend meetings and assist in minutes' preparation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must.
- Candidate must have EIT Certification.
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Spanish and English
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project
- General Management of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Power Point)
