We are looking for a dynamic Construction Project Director with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality to join our Midwest region in either Ohio, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, or Colorado! In this role, you will oversee multiple EPCMV Project Teams' day-to-day execution within the region. Your focus will be on the support of EPCMV and CM services sales, overseeing the detailed execution of projects by teams from initiation to close out, development of staff, and operational performance. Additional Responsibilities Lead construction project teams to help them deliver projects successfully - safely, on time, and on budget. Guide project delivery teams, establish goals and execution plans, and monitor performance. Oversee the development of contracts, subcontracts, estimates, and budgets. Regularly review project performance. Work with PMs to resolve any project cost, schedule, or quality issues. Provide day-to-day direction of all project-specific Project Delivery group operations, including preconstruction, estimating, procurement, project management, construction site management, and construction site safety. Direct the change management process, providing work-in-place analysis with the project services group. Assist with the hiring, training, and development of project delivery staff. Perform site visits as needed to monitor construction progress. Develop new business and work with senior leadership on proposals and presentations to help grow our presence in the Midwest region. Act as a secondary point of contact for PMs for clients. Collaborate with preconstruction, project controls, procurement, quality, and safety by allocating resources. If project risks are identified, work to mitigate them in partnership with senior leadership. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree. 15+ years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline, including time in leadership positions. Experience managing $50M+ construction projects is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in other areas of life sciences including construction of pharmaceutical and biotech facilities. Safety This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project. ? You may be assigned to client site for an extended period of time.? Overnight travel or staying in the city of Client's location is possible depending on assignment.? You will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.? This position is a safety sensitive position. The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for field work for IPS employees or subcontractors.
