About the Role:
As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, design, and implementation of construction projects.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to resolve issues as they arise.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, and permits.
- Assist in managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Support the project manager in evaluating and approving change orders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in construction project management or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Proliance).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
