Centurion Selection are assisting a Super Prime Custom Home Builder in their search for a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple high-end residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of custom home construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to establish project goals, objectives, and timelines.
- Develop detailed project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines throughout the construction process.
- Procure necessary permits and licenses, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work and ensure conformance to design specifications and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Lead and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and organized for archival purposes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction, specifically with custom homes.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, BuilderTREND).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
