Construction Project Manager

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a growing General Contractor in the Georgia area to assist in finding their new Project Manager as the organization continues to grow. The Project Manager will oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
  • Coordinate and oversee all onsite activities including scheduling, material procurement, subcontractor management, and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project budgets and financials, including cost estimation, budget forecasting, and monitoring expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction and implement solutions promptly.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality of work.
  • Implement best practices and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management principles.
