Job Description
The Project Manager provides overall management of detailed and complex construction projects. This position is accountable for all aspects of a project's success from the initial preconstruction planning and procurement to final completion. Additionally, this position provides direct support to other functional project teams in the planning and execution of the job, including resolving issues, managing resources, project coordination, and interfacing with client representatives regarding the project's progress. Responsibilities include setting up the project timely, reviewing specifications including contracts and drawings to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures, managing overall project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, innovation, cost, and customer satisfaction), coordinating site-specific project management or coaching during the initiation and planning phases, serving as a single point of contact, establishing, maintaining and managing customer expectations regarding the project performance, reporting project status and performance data as required to executive management, ensuring compliance with in-house Project Management and Safety Standards, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and continuously working towards successful project completion, managing onsite vendors and subcontractors to ensure the level of performance is within scope, maintaining and completing accurate and consistent submittal logs, providing updates, schedules, and reports as requested, coordinating and overseeing that all team members have been provided the proper safety training and equipment, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in monitoring own work to ensure quality, and adapting to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and being able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
Hard Skills
+ Construction knowledge in Civil or Landscape construction
+ 5+ years as a Sr. APM or PM managing multiple civil projects
+ Proficient in using Procore or HCSS to forecast cost and schedule

+ Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or commensurate experience

Work Environment
Position is approximately 80% office-based and 20% field-based. Hours are 8am-5pm in a brand new office with 20+ people.
