Your Day-to-Day Activities: Lead & Execute •Facilitate Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings to review project progress and foster collaboration. •Take the lead in project scoping, design review, constructability review, competitive bid, construction inspection, commissioning, and as-built incorporation. •Promote consensus-building, effective communication, and individual accountability among team members. •Skillfully mediate and resolve conflicts that may arise within the project. •Provide valuable recommendations on project management tools, processes, procedures, and best practices to enhance the clients' internal Project Management Office (PMO). •Responsively address RFI's, execute contracts, and efficiently process change orders. •Thoroughly review and approve pay applications from contractors and vendors. Plan and Organize •Establish and manage project schedules, including defining activities, work breakdown structures, predecessors, successors, resources, and baselines. •Develop, monitor, and update cash flow projections to ensure effective financial management. •Collaborate with the master scheduler to establish and enforce scheduling specifications for contractors. •Maintain strict control over project scope and implement robust document control processes. •Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, ensuring the successful execution of projects while prioritizing teamwork and communication. Analyze •Conduct comprehensive analysis and report on variances related to project cost and schedule. •Utilize spreadsheet tools for creating and managing reports, ensuring accurate data analysis. •Track and evaluate the progress of activities and milestones within project schedules. •Provide support in performing ad hoc analysis and generating insightful reports. •Collaborate in estimating project costs and assisting in the monthly accrual process. •Communicate •Coordinate productive and collaborative meetings or calls involving diverse team members. •Ensure effective communication with stakeholders by providing timely updates through meeting minutes, risk registers, decision logs, and status reports. •Act as a representative for the client when engaging with government agencies and deliver compelling presentations to senior management and stakeholders. Manage Risk •Take charge of leading the project team in identifying, tracking, and addressing risks, issues, and opportunities. •Proactively escalate risks and issues to ensure timely resolutions and maintain project schedules and budgets. •Recognize and share valuable lessons learned, integrating past experiences into ongoing projects to drive continuous improvement.
