About the job Construction Project Manager Position Summary: This hybrid Superintendent/Project Manager role is responsible for providing technical oversight and maintaining a strong on-site presence with general contractors (GCs) in the field. This individual will ensure projects are executed efficiently, with an eye for quality control, compliance, and alignment with our clients high standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary on-site representative with GCs, offering technical expertise and addressing field issues as they arise.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and design specifications.
- Bridge communication between superintendents, subcontractors, and the project management team to facilitate seamless project progress.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting in the field, drawing from a background in hands-on construction.
- Assist with maintaining the project schedule and budget
- Analyze and resolve construction problems, develop and implement corrective actions as required, and monitor corrective actions to ensure they are effective in coordination with the Operations
- Manage project documentation, progress reporting, and task organization.
- Ensure safety protocols and regulations are upheld on-site.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Project Manager, preferably in commercial construction.
- Proven ability to work in both technical and managerial capacities.
- Strong organizational and task management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple project elements simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with team members, GCs, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with project management software and construction documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred) or equivalent field experience.
