Construction Project Manager
Our client, a leading electrical contracting firm with a history of delivering complex and innovative electrical systems across various industries, is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team and oversee healthcare and higher education projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role will require strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Focus:
- Serve as the primary representative for the company in all administrative and technical aspects of construction projects.
- Oversee contract administration, document control, change orders, submittals, procurement, and project scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Estimating and Preconstruction teams to develop project budgets, schedules, and quality control programs.
- Interface with owners, architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve constructability and value engineering issues during contract negotiation and execution.
- Manage project budgets, identify potential cost issues, and forecast accordingly to ensure project profitability.
- Ensure safety protocols are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Develop and manage GMP or Lump Sum Contracts and prepare subcontractor and owner change orders.
- Conduct weekly and monthly job cost report reviews and develop Look-Ahead Schedules.
- Manage the company's quality control program on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on healthcare and higher education projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Expedition, MS Word, Excel, AIA Contract Documents).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, cost control, quality control, and engineering drawings.
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
