I am representing a respected Commercial General Contractor based in Orlando, FL, seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This company manages a diverse range of projects, including healthcare, education (K-12), multifamily, and mixed-use commercial units, with values ranging from $1 million to $200 million. Their portfolio spans ground-up construction as well as remodeling work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, problem-solve issues, and ensure smooth communication between all parties.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports.
- Control project costs and assist in negotiating subcontractor agreements.
- Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring clear goals and expectations are set and met.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry.
- Experience in healthcare, education (K-12), multifamily, and mixed-use commercial projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of both ground-up and remodeling construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
