Job Details
  • Schedule and meet with clients for potential projects to gain new business for the company.
  • Work with architect and owner in a Design Build Project in order to achieve a building that meets the client's expectations and is profitable
  • Able to read a set of plans and compile a list of subcontractors and materials needed for the project.
  • Analyze quotes/bids received for best pricing on in order to be competitive and profitable.
  • Prepare AIA owner and subcontractor's contract documents to mitigate liability
  • Communicate with local authorities to verify where plans are in the permit process to begin construction in a timely manner.
  • Create pay app and Schedule of Values and necessary billing documents to ensure billings are complete by the 25thof each month.
  • Conduct job meetings with Owners, Architects and all involved in the project to ensure everyone is aware of progress and educated on all areas as needed.
  • Effective communication with owner to get answers and provide resolution to problems.
  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 15+ subcontractors and vendors to ensure project stays on time and on/under budget.
  • Limit liability by documenting all conversations in a written format.
  • Gather all information and pricing to provide cost to owner when changes are made to the plans/contract documents.
  • Code invoices to correct cost code to ensure accuracy of Cost to Complete
  • Fill in accurate information for Cost to Complete to gauge profitability on your project.
  • Experience in estimating
