Project Management Responsibilities:
- Assess, estimate and negotiate residential and commercial reconstruction projects.
- Obtain work authorization contract from client.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Lead and oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish.
- Leverage existing subcontractor relationships in a variety of trades to perform the work.
- Ensure all subcontractors uphold the high standards of workmanship, reliability, and professionalism outlined in our subcontractor agreements.
- Review and approve project budgets, including adjustments and change orders.
- Coordinate with estimating and administrative teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Ensure compliance with SERVPRO's high standards for project execution and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the Mitigation Production and/or Project Managers when needed to address client needs and ensure reconstruction projects align with mitigation work.
- Schedule site visits, inspections, and meetings to keep the project on track.
- Provide clear and consistent updates to clients regarding project status, changes, and completion timelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by managing expectations and addressing concerns promptly.
Position Requirements:
- Proven experience in residential and commercial construction project management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments
- Proficient in technology and project management software and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Xactimate, etc.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to deliver construction projects on time and on budget
Job Type: Full-time, On-site Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Occasional hours may be required outside of normal schedule as business needs occur
Travel Requirements:
- Regular local travel to construction projects in the Elmsford/Tarrytown, NY territory is required
- Occasional overnight travel may be required for storm and large loss events
