Our nimble, decentralized culture can provide you with a wealth of opportunities to learn about our business and quickly gain experience to accelerate your career.This position is an onsite role based out of our Rosemont, IL office.About you:We're looking for a stellar project manager to lead various project solutions for clients with direct accountability that the project deliverables are met according to the timelines and standards established.In this role, you will:Be responsible for managing project documentation and coordinating documentation revisions and distributions.Prepare project status reports including status updates, budget, schedule, and risk for project management team and client.Coordinate and prepare communication plans for meetings with team and client, taking project meeting minutes to track progress and keep all project resources and clients informed.Complete data entry for projects into appropriate software or tools to track projects.Process necessary documentation including project agreements, contracts, work authorizations, and purchase orders.Facilitate project meetings and issue project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.Manage multiple projects in various locations, from project identification through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and completion.Keep communication active amongst all parties throughout the project while maintaining the highest level of customer service.Assist the team with the closeout process including turnover documentation and financial reconciliation.Handle and assist with change requests to determine the impact on the scope of the projects as well as budget, schedule, and manage quality and risk.Manage risk by identifying project risks, developing risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implementing action plans to reduce any project risks.Develop and maintain spreadsheets on projects and be able to access information.Track progress of each project and report on project milestones against goals, budgets, and deliverables.Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.Provide weekly project activity updates on schedule, budget, and current activity.Manage various vendors to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures.Identify and communicate project dependencies and critical paths.Build rapport with clients and ensure project scope and deliverables are communicated fully.What you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is required.2 years of Project Management experience.Ability to present information and manage multiple projects at different stages of renovation/construction.Familiarity with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.Knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to conduct basic financial analysis.Ability to communicate analyzed data to clients and team to achieve project deliveries.Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred.Make your next move an expert one and join us as we lead the industry into the future.Direct applicants only please, no agencies.Colliers provides equal employment opportunity to all persons.
