Our client is a Design/Build General Contractor, based in Quincy, MA. They have been in business for over 40 years and have a strong presence in Greater Boston. They are known for their reputation and client relationships, with a 85% repeat customer rate.
Their portfolio includes Ground Up and Renovation work, typically between $10M - $40M. They have a diverse project portfolio, with their most established markets in healthcare and higher education.
Due to business growth, they seek a Project Manager that will report directly to their VP of Construction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project owners, inspectors, contractors, architects, and engineers
- Negotiates revisions, changes, and additions with owners, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors for changes in scope of work
- Ideal candidates should be able to manage a construction project to final completion; including, preconstruction services, constructability reviews, preparation of bid documents, estimating, budget implementation/analysis, subcontractor management, construction planning, and scheduling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a construction related field, preferred
- 5+ years of commercial GC experience, healthcare experience preferred
- 3+ years as a Project Manager, with experience running commercial projects, required
- Familiarity with construction management software, Procore experience is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of submittals, RFI's, and project close out procedures
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi task
Compensation & Benefit Information
- Salary between $95,000 - $120,000, dependent on experience
- Yearly bonus, circa 10%, with additional discretionary bonuses
