Title: Project Manager

Location: Onsite in Reno, NV + Heavy Travel

  • Travel across Nevada
  • Overnight travel involved!

Duration: Permanent Hire

Start Date: ASAP

Must Haves:

  • Bachelors in Business/Engineering/Construction Management or related field (relevant experience considered).
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in construction/drilling/geothermal.
  • Skills required including:
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Versatility to work effectively in both office and construction environments.
  • Comfort with spending extended periods at a computer and wearing various protective gear as required by safety protocols.
  • Capability to work in severe weather conditions and lift up to 20 pounds independently.
  • Valid driver's license with a willingness to travel up to 50% nationally and internationally.

Plusses:

  • PMP certification or commitment to achieve!
  • Multilingual abilities (Spanish, French, Bahasa).

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager for one of our top clients in Reno, NV. This Project Manager will streamline project delivery by developing processes and documented procedures. They manage activities such as pad construction, well permitting, drilling, and interventions, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and logistics are well-defined and executed. They support well field development, collaborating with specialists to plan multi-well drilling campaigns. Handling various documentation, they ensure high-quality work at job sites, manage budgets, control costs, and coordinate procurement. They plan and adjust timelines, conduct site visits to monitor progress and safety, and perform post-project reviews to identify improvements. Additionally, they assemble project turnover documentation and enhance project management processes within the Resource Team

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pad construction, well permitting, drilling, and interventions, including scope, budget, schedule, procurement, and logistics.
  • Partner with specialists to plan and execute multi-well drilling campaigns and well field development.
  • Manage project documentation, ensure high-quality work, and conduct site visits for progress and QA/QC checks.
  • Develop project scopes, manage budgets, control costs, and coordinate with procurement for goods and services.
  • Enhance project management processes, conduct post-project reviews, and travel up to 50% nationally and internationally.
