Title: Construction Project Manager/Director of Projects
Location: Larkspur, CA
Compensation: $120,000 - $170,000
You are a highly motivated and results-oriented Construction Project Manager responsible for the successful execution of residential and commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
What you will be doing:
- Lead all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, and close-out.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct site inspections, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Oversee project quality control and ensure timely completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- PMP certification or GC license heavily preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in construction documentation, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
