Job Description:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE MANAGING MUNICIPAL TREATMENT PLANT PROJECTS! We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a municipal plant construction projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. No Travel is required, all projects are within the Houston and surrounding areas.Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall project schedule, including project planning, scheduling, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Conduct construction site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project budgets and estimates.
  • Coordinate and manage the installation of construction materials, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure compliance with construction contracts and negotiate with vendors as needed
  • Utilize project management software such as Primavera and Bluebeam to track progress and identify potential issues.
  • Oversee the maintenance of construction site documentation, including records of material deliveries, inspections, and testing.
  • Manage and direct a team of construction professionals, including project engineers and site supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of full life cycle Project Management, specifically dealing with municipal treatment plant facilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Primavera and Bluebeam.
  • Experience with construction estimating and project scheduling.
  • Experience with construction contracts and negotiations.
  • Familiarity with Waste Water Treatment and Water Treatment Facilities.
  • Experience with construction site inspections and compliance with safety regulations.
