In a lead role, oversees project managers in the construction of all new, major and minor store projects within specified geographic regions to ensure there are no cost overruns and construction is completed consistent with specifications and all target milestones are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for managing assigned team of Project Managers to complete projects consistent with the terms of the Agreement related to project milestones, cost, and quality. Additionally, the role is responsible for the review and approval of contractors' bids, award contracts, approve payment applications and change orders within limit authorizations. Performs quarterly check-ins with direct reports.
* Develop and maintain working relationships with Landlords, internal departments, outside consultants, etc. to facilitate the entire project execution to completion.
* Make randomly scheduled field inspections to confirm PM/GC adherence to specifications, construction documents and schedule. Assure that contractors are meeting or exceeding all quality expectations.
* Ensures that all project's construction related input in Tango is accurate and current.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus 3+ years of experience
* If no degree; 5-10 years experience in a project manager position within retail/commercial construction is accepted
* Experience with team management, budgets, bid process, contract negotiation, problem solving, knowledge of construction codes and safety regulations
* PMP, preferred
* This role is open remote with a preference for a candidate in the Southeast region of the United States
The salary range for this opportunity is $90,000- $110,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors
