Summary:A construction company that specializes in retail / commercial fueling system installations is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager in East Northport, NY. Responsibilities:* Oversee 1-5 projects per week within the retail and commercial fueling industry, focusing on the installation of underground and aboveground fuel oil storage tanks.* Conduct daily inspections of all active job sites* Travel to out-of-town job sites as required, over 50% of time spent out in the field * Manage multiple projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.* Use Project Management Software to track progress, schedule, and report key milestones.* Resolve on-site issues and implement solutions to maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.* Interpret blueprints and petroleum construction drawings to establish and inspect elevations, ensuring accuracy during the tank-setting and piping processes.* Conduct quality inspections to verify project standards are met, including shooting grades and performing elevation checks.* Maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and field teams, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.Job RequirementsQualifications:* Project Management experience in the retail and commercial fueling industry, specifically in the installation of underground and aboveground fuel oil storage tanks* Candidates with 5+ years of experience as a Foreman in fueling construction will also be considered* Valid Driver's License* Proficiency in reading and interpreting petroleum construction drawings, blueprints, and elevation plans* Ability to use Project Management Software to track and manage projects* Strong understanding of the tank-setting process, piping systems, and petroleum construction industry standards* Willingness to travel over 50% of the time
