Life at Russell is full of opportunities.How You'll ContributeAs a Construction Project Scheduler, you will help us reach our strategic growth goals by providing project support and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Create preliminary schedule deliverables for pre-construction and bid pursuits based on schematic/conceptual level project documents.
  • Create detailed project schedules for design, construction, and closeout phases working closely with project teams. Includes the creation of cost loaded and recovery schedules.
  • Lead, develop, implement, and maintain a scheduling standard. Includes programs, training, presentations, and mentorship.
  • Analyze construction schedules and recommend schedule improvement. Includes regular jobsite visits, coordination with trade partners, and examination of means and methods.
  • Collaborate with project teams and task managers to define scopes of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from the original plan.
  • Create schedule time impact analysis reports to document project changes and delays and be able to present and explain the TIA to internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate with field team and project managers to conduct regular weekly / monthly schedule updates.
  • Validate contractor's project schedule accuracy, evaluate schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
  • Develop, report, and manage data for portfolio of assigned projects.
  • Actively participate in identifying scheduling process improvements.
  • Communicate schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports.
  • Maintain critical path analysis and reporting deviations against the master schedule.
  • Maintain schedule change management program and schedule fragnets to demonstrate potential delays.
  • Assisting with identifying out of scope work items and creating change order request to be presented to client.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, Construction Management or similar project management program.
  • Experience as a Project Manager with related responsibility developing the master schedule and providing updates.
  • Must have a working knowledge of P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Indoor office environment. May require work on site location when necessary and occasional overnight travel.
  • Experience with USACE project scheduling processes and procedures is a plus.
  • Experience with LEAN/Last Planner scheduling practices is a plus.
