The Quality Control Manager will report to the Quality Control Manager and work closely with and support the operations team. - Assist in the management and implementation of quality control measures during construction, ensuring project standards are met and maintained.•Onsite during construction, employed by the prime contractor.•Assist in managing the Construction Quality Control Program.•Maintain project documents and records onsite, as required.•Support the review and approval of construction submittals.•Participate in phases of control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up) for construction work.•Support quality control personnel and assist in reporting.•Experience in maritime projects.
- Prior USACE not nexessary but beneficial.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:•Degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.•Minimum 1-3 years of construction experience, similar in scope to this project.•Verifiable experience in quality control is advantageous.•Strong written and verbal communication skills.Physical Requirements:•Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. •Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs•Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
