**What You'll Be Doing**
**Job Scope:** Generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete coordination with client RFMS department for small and large engineering projects using theoretical knowledge and practical maintenance methods. This work will be performed under general supervision
**Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:**
+ Familiarity with and utilization of department vendor data organization and design and drafting standards.
+ Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment to a project task team.
+ On-site assistance for meetings and training.
+ Maintaining file organization for efficient checking and use by Teammates and client's preparing drawings and as a deliverable when required.
+ Coordinating directly with RFMS groups to gather required information and deliver to the client documentation database.
+ Consulting with design leaders from other disciplines and the RFMS group to ensure the smooth flow of vital information necessary for the scheduled completion of the project.
+ Reviewing and checking vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for mechanical input.
+ Producing documentation with efficient use of materials with an overall emphasis on ease of turnover and completed product meeting the expectations of the client.
+ Assisting RFMS group(s) to improve processes with documentation transfer for mechanical, process, electrical and instrumentation equipment. Provide periodic presentations to departments discussing latest processes.
+ Checking calculations made by other engineers to ensure accuracy, conformance to codes, specifications, design criteria and conformance to good engineering practice.
+ Advising the senior engineering concerning design or scope changes, which have been identified.
+ Assisting other engineers in developing and assembling scopes, drawings and specifications into a package , enabling mechanical purchase inquiries to be issued for procurement of equipment, materials or subcontract pricing.
+ Developing construction specifications.
+ Reviewing fabrication drawings and other construction submittals for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Performing fieldwork necessary to gather field data and provide construction support.
+ Providing technical guidance to less experienced drafting and engineering personnel in the department.
+ Applying advanced engineering techniques and analysis to complex designs.
+ Developing small work sharing packages for interoffice execution support.
**Ideal Background**
**Education:** Associate degree in Engineering Technology is required. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
**Registration:** No certification is required for this position.
**Experience:** This position requires 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical integrity and reliability maintenance coordination.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment design, drawings, manuals, spare parts, and pertinent information necessary for plant maintenance. Knowledge of regulation requirements to support plant startup and operation.
+ Understanding of reliability and maintenance information requirements.
+ Ability to convey project needs to manufacturers to ensure the Client receives accurate and sufficient documentation.
+ Knowledge of design standards and codes.
+ Knowledge, application and specification of piping materials.
+ Knowledge and application of company engineering design standards.
+ Knowledge of the discipline specific methods, practices and techniques required to engineer, design and construct process and manufacturing projects.
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
+ Ability to proficiently interface with Client database software.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Excellent presentation skills.
+ Virtual team skills and cross divisional relationships are developed and able to provide interoffice execution support with general supervision.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.
+ Ability to use the entire body, more often hands and arms, in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and equipment.
+ Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment.
+ Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment such as a fire-retardant jumpsuit, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hat.
