Position Title: Construction Specialist Team Lead Business Unit: Retail Lending Reports to: Construction Servicing Manager Position Overview: This position is a new requirement due to the implementation of the new construction platform, Built. The incumbent will serve as the system administrator and subject matter expert for the Built Platform. They will be responsible for all newly boarded loan set up and activation, draw schedules, assignments to specialists, reporting, auditing and training. The incumbent will monitor, primarily, saleable project progressions and escalate at risk loans. Policies and Procedures will be owned by this individual for construction draw and inspection administration. Primary Responsibilities: Activate and assign all new loans into the Built platform within 48 hours. Load the construction disbursement schedule according to the approved draw schedule. Ensure balanced case loads to specialists. Ongoing training and coaching team as it relates to managing construction projects and overall Built functionality and process flow. Initiate Built platform invitations to both Builders and Borrowers at each activation. Set Construction Specialist milestones for initial welcome email, welcome calls, inspection and draw turn times. Monitor for timely completion of all project status changes and ensure timely and proper conversion/renewal instructions to mortgage servicing. Ensure compliance with all saleable loan regulations/procedures. Maintain reports to ensure data integrity, reviewing maturity dates, milestones, number of inspections and draws. Escalate issues related to stale loans, high risk issues i.e. borrower/builder complaints/legal matters. Audit a random sample, (10%), of each Construction Specialists' pipeline against Key Performance Indicators and conduct coaching and sharing sessions. Audits may include weekly or bi-weekly reports for a Specialist that may be identified as needing training or additional coaching. Serve as a Construction Specialist floater, handling the day to day activities such as inspection ordering, draw disbursements etc. Assist Manager of Construction Servicing with overall team performance, coaching, training, reporting etc. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
