Tiello has partnered with a highly regarded Commercial General Contractor on their search for a Superintendent to oversee Commercial new construction projects in the Miami- Fort Lauderdale area.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with expertise in high-end interiors to manage and oversee daily site operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure each phase of the project is executed to the highest standards, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing luxury interior construction projects, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site activities for high-end interior projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain daily site logs and progress reports, monitoring project budgets and schedules.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure work meets high-end finishing standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, designers, and clients.
  • Implement and enforce site safety programs to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Resolve site issues proactively to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in high-end interior construction or similar luxury projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, especially for luxury materials and finishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage crews and foster client relationships.
  • Proficiency with construction software and scheduling tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • OSHA certification and a strong understanding of on-site safety requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with tight deadlines.
