The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire field operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. The candidate should be capable of maintaining a construction schedule by effectively communicating schedule requirements to subcontractors. The Candidate must be quality oriented and take pride in the product they are delivering.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation of construction projects
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed by subcontractors
- Ensure work in place adheres to approved documentation
- Use Project Management Software (Procore) to maintain daily job logs/project photos
- Give daily Job Site Safety Briefs
- Manage subcontractors and construction site organization
Qualifications
- 10 years experience as commercial/industrial construction superintendent
- Ability to read construction documents (plans and specs)
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical trades
- Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with all trades
