Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent specializing in commercial construction for a reputable client in Nashville, TN. Our client has been a leader in the construction industry for over 30 years, delivering high-quality services with a strong focus on church, hospital, and community-oriented projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and vendors, maintaining effective communication and ensuring work aligns with project specifications.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA requirements.
- Review and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure proper execution of the construction plan.
- Provide regular updates to the project manager and serve as the primary on-site contact for client communications.
- Resolve any project-related challenges, including schedule delays, material shortages, or design changes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on church, hospital, or community-oriented projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is preferred.
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
