We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent with a background in healthcare construction to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion
· Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
· Manage and supervise construction personnel, including subcontractors and laborers
· Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans
· Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to identify and resolve issues
· Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
· Ensure all safety regulations and standards are followed on site
· Communicate project status and escalate issues as necessary
· Attend and participate in project meetings, as needed
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred, but not required
· 7+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on healthcare construction
· Strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure
· Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards
· Strong project management skills and experience with project scheduling and budget management
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
