We are looking for a Construction Superintendent with proven experience in commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily projects to join the team of a nationally leading general contractor in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations, ensuring that all projects are executed with the highest level of quality, on time, and within budget.
????Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling work, and ensuring resources are available.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines and resolve any delays.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design and project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead daily site meetings to coordinate tasks, address challenges, and provide clear direction to the team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, managing client relationships and ensuring clear communication between all parties.
????Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
- OSHA certification (required).
