Summary:
As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality construction projects while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining positive client relationships. You will monitor the job progress and work closely with the Project Management team to ensure smooth project progress and completion. This role is based in San Antonio, TX and will require expertise in Commercial Tenant Improvement (TI) projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Preconstruction and Kick-Off Meetings.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget considerations.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Schedule, manage, and monitor subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth progression of work.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address any challenges, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout the construction process.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, project managers, clients, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project site, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing regular updates to project managers and clients.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety and minimizing occupational hazards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, including budget, schedule, and quality metrics, and present them to project managers and clients as required.
- Document and report any project delays, issues, or disputes, and work collaboratively to develop solutions and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with experience in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools. Procore expertise preferred.
- Relevant certifications, such as OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or LEED accreditation, are preferred.
