Job Description:
- Responsible for overall project success including but not limited to day-to-day field operations, safety, schedule, and quality
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings
- Investigate, document, and resolve day-to-day field issues
- Complete accurate job and progress reports and other job-related project documentation
- Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work, identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule
- Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress and performance.
- Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors
- Ability to lead weekly project meetings with Owners and Subcontractors
- Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project
- Reviewing and logging payrolls.
- Will be using p6.
- Overseeing subcontractors, quality control, schedule development, and attending bi-weekly project meetings with the customer.
- The role involves significant paperwork and computer work, including updating schedules and ensuring safety information is logged.
- The project involves some lighting, and other MEP projects for the Indiana Area School District. The work schedule is currently from 3 PM to 11 PM due to school hours.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years Construction Superintendent experience.
- 5+ years' experience with MEP projects (lighting, HVAC replacement, etc.)
- Ability to work with and knowledge of multiple construction trades
- Ability to proficiently work with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Have driver's license and own transportation
- Ability to work all shifts and days
- Have a mobile phone
- P6 knowledge would be a plus.
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and have trade backgrounds in electrical and mechanical work.
