Construction Superintendent

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the operations of the construction site, from planning to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
• Be responsible for all job site safety (OSHA 10 minimum recommended).
• Possess excellent document record-keeping skills.
• Schedule and maintain quality control using checklists to ensure job site quality.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
• Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
• Ensure that the job site is always kept clean and organized.
• Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have 5+ years of experience in multi-family construction.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science is a plus.
• Possess general computer knowledge.
• Be proficient in blueprint reading.
• Have endurance and the ability to visit the entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
• Monitor job site general health and safety.
• Maintain a professional customer service attitude and appearance.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
